Drew & Lauren’s Engagement in Brown County | Indiana Wedding Photographer

Everyone, meet Drew and Lauren. They’re getting married next August, and I can’t wait for their wedding! Drew and Lauren are actually in the same field of work. They met each other on Lauren’s first day. After a while of working together, Drew asked her to hang out with him and his new dog. Flash forward a few years and Drew is driving Lauren to where she thinks is her co-workers house for a girls night. Drew pulls into a restaurant so they can grab some food and says to Lauren “so…you’re not going to hang out with the girls tonight.” Confused, Lauren looked over and saw a van for a hot air balloon company. They went on a hot air balloon date and towards the end, there was a sign asking “will you marry me.” When Lauren turned around, Drew was on one knee in the balloon. The rest is history.

They requested their session location be at Brown County State Park in Nashville, Indiana. If you’ve never been to Nashville before, you need to make a trip. It’s the cutest little town, especially in the Fall time. We started off on the streets of Nashville and found some spots before heading to the park.

Brown County State Park is notorious for the colors of the leaves in the Fall. I grew up near Turkey Run State Park, so it’s always interesting to see what other state parks look like. This one doesn’t play around…It’s huge and definitely lived up to the Fall colors hype. We found a lake and walked the trail around it.

Drew & Lauren, thank you for hanging out with me for the afternoon! I’m looking forward to your wedding next Fall!
