Proposal in Broad Ripple | Indianapolis LGBT Wedding Photographer

The Laurens are ENGAGED!!! You might remember them from the Pride Shoot I posted last June during Pride Month. When Lauren S. reached out to me to ask me to help her scheme a plan so she could propose I was thrilled! We came up with the story that a wedding blog wanted to publish their photos from our Pride Shoot and wanted to include some photos of their favorite date spots…so we had to do another “photoshoot” for that. šŸ™‚

We started out at Good Morning Mama’s in South Broad Ripple. This is one of their favorite breakfast spots. It’s so fun & colorful, and their food is amazing if you ever have the chance to go!

Next, we headed to Brothers Bar and Grill in Broad Ripple. We ordered a beer and took a few shots before we headed to the rainbow bridge.

We got a few shots on the bridge and then Lauren S. recommended we go over to the side of the bridge so they could hang their feet over the edge and get the bridge in the background.

This was the spot we planned for the proposal to go down, and it was the perfect spot! I love the rainbow bridge in the back.

Lauren P. said she had a feeling it was going to happen, but I think she was still pleasantly surprised. šŸ™‚ Afterwards, we walked over to the bridge on the Monon Trail with all of the padlocks so they could add their very own padlock with their proposal date written on it.

Congratulations, I’m so happy for you both!!
